The GridWise® Architecture Council (GWAC) will be having a face-to-face meeting hosted by Burns & McDonnell at their Kansas City World Headquarters (9400 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO)
The bulk of the meeting will be focused on continuing work on a Transactive Energy Systems Research, Development and Deployment roadmap. At this meeting members of the Council will engage industry stakeholders from utilities, vendors, system integrators, technology providers, and regulators to gather input for the draft roadmap. The Council will also review progress of the related update to the Transactive Energy Framework Document.
The detailed agenda is still being developed but will include presentations and discussions related to planned future work of the council on topics including valuing grid resilience and bringing consistency to application of grid architecture to industry problems. Planning for the 5th International Conference and Workshop on Transactive Energy Systems will also be a primary topic on the agenda.
The Council welcomes active participation of interested stakeholders. Please plan to join the Council on October 25 and 26, 2017. The meeting will start on Oct. 25 at 8:30am and run until 4:30pm CDT (Central Daylight Time) and on Oct. 26 at 8:30am until 2:30pm.
